How to Apply for the Solar Panel Scheme
- Log in to the official website of the Punjab Government and register, otherwise contact the local center.
- Fill up a form online or at the application center with personal details which include your phone number CNIC and full address.
- After your submission of the application, the Government of Punjab will scrutinize your application and may further seek an interview to ascertain whether you would qualify for the scheme.
- In case your application is approved, an inspection of your property will be conducted to verify that the place is feasible enough to install solar panels there.
- After a month the government will install free solar panels in your house and will allow contractors to visit your home for the completion of the installation process
Solar Panel Distribution Details
Those using 100 units per month will be provided with 500-watt solar panels, while those using 200 units and families with low electricity consumption will be provided with 1100-watt solar panels.
