Chief Minister Punjab Kisan Card was introduced to modernize the agricultural landscape by leveraging digital solutions. Schemes Components	Farmer’s registration for the scheme will be carried out ONLINE. All farmers, with land holding up to 12.5 acres will be eligible. Farmer have to mobile SIM registered against his own CNIC (PMD Verified)Farmers who own land and whose land record is available in PLRA will be entitled for loan. Farmers will be verified digitally through creation of an interface between farmers registration database (by PITB) and PLRA record. Upon registration and verification of land, verification from NADRA, PMD,, farmers will be issued a Chief Minister Kisan Card by Bank of Punjab. Initially loan facilities will be provided to 500,000 farmers on a first come first serve basis. Maximum loan per farmer per season will be Rs.150,000 for 5 Acres (@PKR 30,000/acre).Loan amount can only be used for purchase of agriculture inputs.

Procedure to Complete Registration Chief Minister Punjab Kisan Card

The Chief Minister of Punjab, has announced that for the first time in the Punjab  Kisan Card program, will be provided to 300,000 farmers for the purchase of quality and good performance fertilizers. The registration process is currently ongoing successfully throughout Punjab. Interested farmers should send an SMS from their registered mobile number to 8070. After sending the SMS, such farmers will immediately receive a response SMS (with their ID card number) stating that the Kisan Card has been approved, which will soon be sent to the relevant Bank of Punjab branch.

How to Apply and Obtain the Chief Minister Punjab Kisan Card

Registration Process:

• Go to the precision farming office nearest to you or any authorized registering office.
• Submit papers of ID, documents regarding property and even recent photographs.
• Requite registration papers that the concerned staff will input into the given system.

Verification Process:

• The particulars as captured in the registration forms will be verified after registration.
• There is cross-referencing of land record sources to certify that the farmer is a participant.

Confirmation of Registration:

• Farmers will be able to read a message confirming their registration on the provided mobile devices or receive an official message that their registration has been successfully completed.

Activation of the Kisan Card:

• When a card is issued immediately after issue the card will be related to the facer’s account with a bank.
• The farmer will be shown the card after he/she receives the notification that their cards have been activated and they are ready for use.
